Next generation OPAC

A single search box always on top of the navigation, that allows to search the catalog from every page on the site. An advanced search that lets you combine every cataloguing field. Relevance ranking and facets allow to effectively refine search results.

Content Management System

For DiscoveryNG Comperio has developed the Liquens module for Silverstripe, an open source Content Management System. A CMS is a software that provides an easy interface to publishing, editing and modifying content on a web site. It also provides the possibility to manage workflow in a collaborative environment.

Libraries portal

The architecture of DiscoveryNG allows you to effectively manage communication both at network level and single library level. You can manage events and news, staff and opening hours pages, as well as the publication of bibliographies through the use of widgets.

Freedom for patrons

Libraries patrons can reserve catalog's titles, vote and review titles, save search queries and create custom bibliographies. Thanks to the discussion forums both patrons and librarians can build togheter the online community.
